Parler and Ye Part Ways Without Closing Deal

In a surprising turn of events, Ye (aka Kanye West) and Parler announced that they will no longer be moving forward with the deal to sell the social network. Despite releasing a joint statement in October stating that an agreement had been reached, things evidently fell through.

Parler’s owner said in a statement that it was mutually agreed upon by both parties to terminate the sale in November. It is unclear what exactly happened, but Parler plans to continue growing and evolving its platform.

No one will really know what could have been had Kanye West and Parler gone through with the sale, though Kanye’s influence would certainly have led to some interesting changes on the platform. However, for now, it looks like Kanye West has decided to move on from his idea of buying a social network and focusing on other projects.

The news may come as a disappointment to Kanye West fans, who were hoping to see him make his mark on the social media world. But for now, Kanye and Parler have decided to move in different directions.
