Meta Opens New Offices in Bellevue’s Spring District
Meta, a tech giant that you may know for being Facebook’s first engineering outpost outside of California, has just opened its new offices in Bellevue’s Spring District. The company has been rapidly expanding and now employs over 8,000 people in the Seattle area. In addition to the new office space in Bellevue, Meta is also expanding their Redmond campus.
The company has leased five buildings in the Spring District totaling over one million square feet.
The new office space is just one way that Meta is investing in the Seattle region. The company is also committed to giving back to the community. Meta’s employees have volunteered their time and resources to help local non-profits, schools, and organizations. In 2017, Meta employees logged over 12,000 hours of service.
Meta’s expansion is just one example of the growing tech industry in the Seattle area. The region has become a hub for tech companies and talent. Bellevue is quickly becoming known as a destination for innovation and creativity. With Meta’s new offices, the city is cementing its reputation as a thriving center for the tech industry.
