Kobe Bryant Dies In Helicopter Crash in Calabasa

TMZ reported this Sunday morning, Kobe Bryant (former NBA player, and co-founded Los Angeles VC firm, Bryant Stibel) died in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California – Calabasas is a city in Los Angeles County, California, United States, located in the hills west of the San Fernando Valley and in the northwest Santa Monica Mountains.
Kobe was traveling with at least 3 other people in his private helicopter when it went down. A fire broke out. Emergency personnel responded, but nobody on board survived. TMZ
The retired NBA star unveiled his venture-capital fund back in 2016 with Jeff Stibel, a $100 million vehicle for investing in technology, media and data companies. WSJ
