More about the event …
ECOMMERCE WEEK LA™ is a week-long exhibition showcasing businesses and sharing ideas on how to grow eCommerce brands, built by the people who do, for the people who do (or aspire to). It’s all about creating community and helping each other succeed!
Today, near-ubiquitous availability and access to the internet has given rise to a vast new marketplace for the ambitious entrepreneur to compete with big brands. With eCommerce sales expected to reach $4.9 trillion by 2021 globally, the opportunity to build on the world’s next gold rush is here and the prospect has never been more attainable.
Nowhere in the world is there more enthusiasm to capitalize on this dream than Los Angeles, CA. Los Angeles is the pulsing heart of the eCommerce industry, beating with new ideas and the right conditions to turn them into reality.
With over $5 trillion in funding and over 700 new and established eCommerce brands, Los Angeles has become the epicenter of this ever-evolving frontier. LA is host to the right combination of consumer goods production, unparalleled marketing talent, and logistics to enable rapid and sustainable growth.
In recognition of The City of Los Angeles’ role in continuing to grow the eCommerce landscape, The City, in coordination with founding partner, Hawke Media, will kick off the city’s inaugural ECOMMERCE WEEK LA™.
ECOMMERCE WEEK LA™ will focus on highlighting Los Angeles’ wealth of eCommerce brands and the people behind them. The week will consist of remote events held globally, including brand activations and unique virtual experiences.
