DrinkLyte Launches a New Functional Beverage to Rehydrate You After Drinking Alcohol

The Party-at-Home pack comes with two MoonLyte drink mixes and two SunLyte drink mixes; customers can choose to get a pack once a month, twice a month, or weekly for $8, $12, and $20 per month, respectively.

DrinkLyte’s two beverage mixes, MoonLyte and SunLyte make up a post-alcohol rehydration regimen: drink MoonLyte after a night of drinking, and SunLyte first thing the next morning. The beverages are oral rehydration solutions or “ORS.” ORS uses an optimal electrolyte balance that studies have shown to rehydrate much more effectively than water and in fact rehydrate just as effectively as IVs.

Founded in Spring 2019, the brand was poised to launch this year at nightlife venues with their original canned version of the drinks. Due to COVID shutdowns, the brand was forced to find new ways to get their beverages to consumers who found themselves drinking more at their homes. This new e-commerce venture was the best solution to allow consumers to purchase DrinkLyte and enjoy it easily to accommodate their new drinking lifestyles. The innovative subscription and packaging models also allowed for the lowest entry price point among competitors in the industry.
